Elite Mineral Makeup: Lipstick Picks

If you have been reading my previous posts, you’ll know how much I love lip colors. They give color to my pale face, with or without the foundation, blush and eye shadow. I think that’s the best thing about lipsticks, you can just wear them and you’re good to go.

As usual, I’ll be focusing on Elite Minerals. And so here are my picks for their lipstick collection…

1. Peach

This natural creamy pink lip color is great for everyone. You can wear this everyday, whether its for work or shopping or a date. Peach lip color never goes wrong.

2. Sparkly Wine

I love nude lipsticks. They look sophisticated and natural. If you want something like that, go for Sparkly Wine.

3. Gold Love

Such unique color, right? Gold Love is perfect for tan to dark colored individuals. But you must need a lip primer to have that perfect effect you want.

4. Sunny Day

Sunny Day is a natural creamy red color with hints of brown. This can be used when you have little or simple eye makeup to bring attention to the lips. You can even use this without putting any other makeup at all, like when you’re late for work or when you are busy.

5. Mini Mineral Lipstick Set

I love this mini set. It has 5 shades; a bright eye gazing red shade ‘Ruby’ , a mattemauve shade ‘Deep Rose Pink’ for fall, a slightly medium dark cranberry shimmer shade ‘Pearl Cherry’, a lightpeach innocent shade ‘Peach Frost’ for most seasons, and a golden bronze shade ‘Spiced Coral’. I would recommend this to everyone so they have many shades to choose everyday. Awesome, right?

What do you think of my picks? Love ‘em? You can have that too by visiting Elite Minerals. So go and get natural today!

Cosmetic Feature: Elite Mineral Make Up

Anyone who knows me personally knows I’m a sucker for makeup and cosmetic products. I have products from Clinique, Hema (Amsterdam), L’Oreal, Maybelline, Nichido, NYX, Revlon and Careline (a local brand). Some were bought, the rest were given as gifts. Most, if not all, of my cosmetic products are either synthetic or those tested in animals. I have no idea on mineral makeup as the only store available here offering such product is The Body Shop, which is quite pricy. However, there is a rising cosmetic company that offers makeup from ORGANIC AND 100% NATURAL ingredients, the Elite Mineral Make Up.

Elite Mineral Make Up products are from high quality minerals. Materials are not from China and no chemical-animal tested ingredients whatsoever. Most of the people I know using their products complimented that they are tout naturel. No itchiness or any skin irritations have been reported from using their products. And from that perspective, I can say it’s even better than the Bare Essential ones. For the next few weeks, I’ll be talking about my picks on Elite Mineral MakeUp products. From their matte eye products (which I’m so excited about as I love their collection!) to their glimmering blushes and uber nice lipsticks. So stay tune and while you’re at it visit their website, http://www.mineralmakeupme.com, or click their badge at the right side bar of this blog.

Happy Valentine’s everyone! Happy Desire Day to all of us!

Pink VS Burgundy

I am a fan of cosmetics. You can see that in my previous posts. But 2011, my focus were mostly on lip colors. I fell inlove with lipsticks that I started buying one almost every month. I started with a light pink color then went bolder to hot pink ones. Of course the red was still a classic so I also bought one. I also have neutral colors and just one burgundy color. I’m not really brand conscious but of course I want something that also takes care of my lips. I have lipsticks from famous brands such as NYX, Revlon, Avon, Maybeline and some from not so popular brands like Careline and Hema.

Pink lips are so in the past 2011. It’s not a loud color, it’s girly and very pretty thus it can be used everyday, anytime, anywhere.

In the pictures below, I’m wearing NYX’ Hot Pink.

Burgundy lips also became quite popular by 2011 because of the Vampy looks (thanks a lot, Twilight). Actresses like Leighton Meester, Michelle Trachtenberg and Vanessa Hudgens rock the look!

Below I’m wearing Revlon’s Raspberry Rush.

So what do you like more, pink or burgundy? If you ask me, I like them both!

versus

Well, that’s it for now. Time for me to go out, light a lantern, wish for something nice and jump as hard as I could so I could get taller.

P.S. I was busy the whole of December but I promise to make more blogs this 2012! X)

Soon I’ll be posting more of my lipstick collection. Happy 2012 Everyone!
