If you want to look smart and simple yet classy and sophisticated, go for the Preppy look. Good examples would be the Duchess, Kate Middleton, Spencer from Pretty Little Liars, Blair from Gossip Girl or even that valedictorian in the teen movie you’ve been watching.
The style is very simple, clean and fresh. Any wearer would look top of the class and posh at the same time. It’s also perfect for a working environment (if you can wear shorts, then that would be awesome!) or meeting the parents (yours and your partner’s) or if you just really want a comfy go-to outfit for the day.

Gloomy weather this week for us, Generals. But, I love rainy days. They’re the perfect excuse to wear boots and thick dresses!
That was my OOTD yesterday. The thick velvet dress I found during my thrift shopping was just perfect for the cold breeze. It also matched my new boots, which I got on sale (Yey!). And my red crochet hat gave color to the all black ensemble. My Tita told me I reminded her of European women. I guess I’m born to the wrong country?

Fashion Meets Corporate
Hola, everyone!
If you have been following my blog for a while now, you’ll know I am in the business world, working for my Dad. It has always been my dream to become a CEO one day and I guess I’m not that far away from that dream. I wasn’t sure, actually. I mean, being young and all makes you want to try everything first. But when I read and discover everything about the Becky (gay) Queen, Ms. Divine Lee, I realized that I want to be her.

I was surfing youtube for some 90s music when I heard this song in a Best of 90s video. It brought back memories, not of my school age years (I was in elementary during the 90s) but of the first time I ever played The Sims back in high school. Haha. Yes, Ulan (rain) by Rivermaya was the background music when playing. I guess whoever installed it in our computer modified the default music for the game. Anyways, I figured this was also a good inspiration for my outfit post today since it’s raining hard the whole afternoon.

I have always loved White, Blue and Red put together. And I think that’s how my love for “nautical” stuff originated.
